British Wildlife Centre

Sleeping rats!!, these rats made us lauhg so much becasue more and more kept piling in andthen the odd one would squeeze over all the others to get through to the other side, the kids were fascinated by them.







The first of these squirrels is Albino and happily eating his lunch while we watched him and the other just chilling in the sun, we liked him because he was lying so flat out.





These foxes had just been fed (dead chicks) by the keeper who was talking about them so they were running about in the open. The big one had just been licking the little one it was very cute.













and last but not least this gorgeous owl. My camera battery died at this point (even though I'd charged it) so fortunately that means another trip to capture some images of the otters, who were lovely.

Impromptu

I decided lat week that I wanted some photos of Charlotte and I and obviously being me I chucked the camera at Gary and we took them then and there!!!! In the eating area of the kitchen!!! Background is everything I here you all crying but never mind and as it turned out I love the photos we ended up with.

You would not believe how long it took me to do this simple LO, George was insistent that I help him with 'where's wally the great picture hunt'!! so with a few minutes here and there I finally finished what I started yetsreday. It is based on a sketch and LO by Shimelle in this months scrapbook inspirations. I followed this as I haven't done much scrapping lately and decided this would help pull me out!!

Friends book

I made this book for a friend of mine who is having a hard time at the mo, I followed a class on this gorgeous website.

Generation Minibook

This is three generations of my family my nana, great nana and great great nana and as far as I have got with my minibook this afternoon, while watching 'the sound of music'.

I've loved getting the pictures together and am endeavouring to find some back further than 1855.

My Vegetable Garden

We finally got everything together for the raised veg bed, I wanted a rasied bed so that 1 I could have really good quality compost on top of my own improved soil which is a bit clay like ( I fixed it up a bit with some manure and grit!!) The stuff on top is really nice compost and it took 9 bags of compost to fill it. I have been growing some of the veg in a little greenhouse and after a slight disaster, the greenhouse blew over and everything went everywhere. So after I replanted everything and tied the greenhouse to the playhouse everything seemed to grow well.



The kids helped for a while!! they liked the raking best!







It's all planted out anyway and I guess we can see what happens!!!

Broccoli, Cauliflower, Carrots, Radish, Runner beans, Peas, Onions, Garlic, Lettuce


Can you tell it suddenly got very windy when I was taking the photo and all the leaves are billowing over, hope they manage to stay rooted!!

Cyber Crop

I loved doing this LO with a class from the uks cyber crop. I really like this picture of Charlotte on her Brownie holiday.
