Cyber Crop

A Cyber Crop on ukscrappers has inspired me to scrap again, which is great. I really enjoyed doing this LO and am working on some more.

This one is a class from Shimelle and is a story about a boy and his bear. George made this bear Noodles, at his friend Annalise's build a bear party and he loves him dearly. There are more photos of the two of them folded behind the front photos.

Family crop!!

We had a family crop yesterday afternoon/evening the kids and I. We really enjoyed doing it together.
George used some pictures from our camping holiday and Charlotte used 2 of her cousin and her. I did the pictures of my new baby nephew, Oliver who arrived 10 days early on Saturday night and also the photo I took of Charlotte and her friends at her school leavers disco.
I used sketches from
which were convieniently sitting in my inbox when I got back from camping. Just what I needed to spur me on.
I'm also doing as class by Shimelle at the mo and am hopefully going to do a page tonight.
I'm working the next 2 days so will do some more scrapping at the weekend and hopefully it won't be more a month or more until I blog again!!!!!!
Thanks for looking and hopefully commenting.

Crop Layouts

I went to a crop yesterday and finally scrapped!!!! I have done a couple of Lo's in the last couple of months but not much. Yesterday I scrapped 1 whole Lo from a class Jan did, with a flip flap book and 2 half Lo's that i've finished today.

I finally felt I had my mojo back as it's been missing while I've been doing my college work!! Nearly finished so back to scrapping properly (I hope) soon.

They didn't photograph very well, but I am happy with them. Must do a LO tomorrow of our new addition Pickle the Hamster!!!

Weekly blogger

I seem to have turned into a weekly blogger, I've been in bed really early all last week and worked yesterday so don't feel like I've been about on the computer much. I did these 2 LO's last Friday and have remembered to take their picture today. As you can see the pics are old but I wanted to use some from my photo drawer and get strated so this is a start. Charlotte and friends when she was 6 and the candyfloss one is when she is 4 and my little fat baby boy is only 6 months, ooh those chubby legs are so cute!!

Thanks for taking the time to read and comment it is much appreciated I love reading the comments.

Saturday, 14 February 2009

It's Saturday.

Blogger hasn't wanted me to blog over the last couple of days, but it appears to be letting me on now.

This is the only picture of George I could get as he flew by on his exercise ball!!!! However it captures the crazy spell he was going through this afternoon perfectly!! Charlotte's out at a Brownie Sleepover so no pic of her today. George really misses her when she is away as they generally play happily together obviously they do have the odd disagreement but mostly they play well.

Also a picture of some goodies I got for sending a card into beautiful cards magazine which was published in issue 29. I was very excited when it came in the post a few days ago. 2 great stamp sets, some decoupage and lovely ribbons.

Finally Layouts!!

These are the Lo's I did at the crop on Saturday the waterfall one was a class that I did and the other I did in the afternoon. I love that picture of George it is his first 'school' photo (4 years ago) and the day before he'd crawled into the coffee table and given himself a slight black eye, as I was comforting him crying I remember thinking 'oh no your having your picture taken tomorrow'!!
I just have to add some journalling I as going to add some buttons but I think I like it simple. I also have to add the journalling on the camping LO and I have a little journalling shape the same shape as the stripy paper that I cut on the cricut they provide at the crop (such a fab item)

This is the little book I have made for the page maps, it's small enough (4 x 4) to keep in my tools & bits case and will provide just that little bit of inspiration I sometimes need to get going!! Thanks to Tamsin at my crop for the idea.
