I just had to take this photo today when Charlotte was on the trampoline and shouted 'Mum, look at my hair'!! It was hilarious and I could hardly take it for laughing!! She must have been bouncing like mad to have built up that much static!!

28th July 2007

Took the kids to soft play this afternoon as Charlotte had a friend over, once we had helped another friend move house. While they played I made these beady bookmarks. I'm really pleased with the way they came out and Charlotte and her friend Lilea have helped themselves to them already!! I got the idea and info on making them from the August copy of Your Home magazine that I had from my friend who's moved!!

27th July 2007

I completed a layout for the Tequilla July interteam challenge, the criteria were a picture of a holiday in the sun, someone smiling, the colour yellow and use a stamp. I love this picture of Georgie.

Also made a mini book for Gary's aunt who has not been well this week, it is about her and her sister (Gary's mum). I tied it together with a piece of RikRak

23rd July 2007

I've been trying to have a card making time as scrapbooking seems to have taken over, so here is a card I made today using the new M & F board that I won in a papercraft essentials prize giveaway. It came with a creaser and 2 cd's so expect more.

Last week in school

The kids are having their last week in school before the summer holidays, which we are all looking forward to, especially as I'm not minding for the first 2 weeks so it will just bethe four of us which will be novel.

This is the card that I made for Charlotte and George's Teachers who have been great this year and offered encouragement and support beyond the call of duty. The card has a bit for an insert in the card as usual and the flap on the front is an extra bit. to make it like a satchel.

16th July 2007

Had a fab weekend for taking photos but have had no time to scrap anything so thought I'd share a photo of Gary having far too much fun with George's pretend gun (he won it, I don't let them have weapons normally) on Brighton pier. He's shooting the children who were riding in the tea cups!!

New Month, New Blog Start

1st July 2007

I can't believe I last posted in May, where did June go. Anyway I'm here now and going to have a fresh start of updating!!! Before i get on to some layouts, Charlotte and I did our racce foe life yesterday which was great, even though it was throwing down with rain and very muddy!! We were fine once the aerobic warm up started and we got going. Got round the course in 29 minutes which is our personal best time as in our two practices we did 1hr and then 47 mins. Here we are doing our exercises beforehand.

This is a layout I did for the 'secret of scrapbooking', It's only a layout a week but I'm struggling to keep up. But going to makea bigger effort in july not to fal asleep at 8oclock with kids and then i might get some crafting done!!!!
