What shall I do with the journalling?

This is my LO for this weeks challenge on ukscrappers, just need to add a shiny brad, but stuck on the journalling, shall i write directly on to the Lo or use sentence blocks or word blocks? Any help much appreciated.

This is a LO based on week 3's sketch from the 52 sketches site, it's rotated. I'm gradually catching up!!!!

This moment in the racing car was so great for me because George hadn't wanted to drive one the whole time he was at the party (racing car party), as he felt like he might not be able to do it and didn't want the others too see him do it wrong.

So when the ladies who were running it said he could have a go at the end when the other kids went for their party food he decided to give it a little try. As it turned out they had gone up to the balcony to eat and so could cheer him when he drove round the track which he coped with really well. He enjoyed it even though he does look rather pensive in the photos.

Too much of a thinker for a 6 year old, bless him. I'll be grateful when he's bigger that he doesn't make rash decisions but at the moment it makes childhood fun hard for him.

I will add the journalling later as I want to hide it and haven't decided the best way of doing this.

Todays Card

I took the whole day on and off, between doing other jobs to make this card!! One of these days I'll have time to sit and just make a card with no interruptions.

Cry Baby Cry

This weeks challenge on ukscrappers is

'Welcome to February and the first challenge set up the Scrummy Scrappers - we hope you enjoy doing it...February is meant to be the dullest, darkest month of the year - so we thought it would be a good idea to bring some colour into your lives so we challenge you to make a lo with bright, summery colours... This week marks the 50th anniversary of the Munich air disaster where 7 young Manchester United players sadly died so we want you to use 7 of something in honour of them... It is also the anniversary of the Beatles first arriving in America so we would like you to use a Beatles song as your title...The next part of our challenge is to not use blossoms - this was a real challenge to ourselves as we tend to use them alot...Finally we decided February is such a bleak month it needed even more colour... so we challenge you to use paint on your lo... go on get good and messy...'

Here is my effort this week, a picture of Charlotte at 2 days old, not very impressed at having to have a bath!!!! I'm starting an album for her!!! along with my many other things I'm doing. I like to have a lot of works in progress!!

A Knights Tale

Well my little Knight went off to school all happy in his costume and he managed to the playground before he lost his nerve and his self conciousness got the better of him. But he looked cute for the photo. One day I'll remember to pay attention to the background of my photos as well as the subject!!!

Altered tin

Ok so this months challenge set by one of the girls on cardmaking and papercraft is to alter a box, this is a tin ut I'm sure it still applys. It's for my FIL's birthday tomorrow as he always has a litle dish or something with bits and bobs in so I thought I'd make him a bits and bobs tin. It was a custard tin in it's previous life!!! I think I'm going to add a picture of him with the kids on the top as I took a nice one a little while a go fr a page Charlotte was making.
