I was tired last night and so didn't blog and yesterdays photo was taken late, they looked so cute sleeping I couldn't resist!!!

They were not impressed!!!

Self Portrait Sunday

This is my cleaning look!!! I don't know why but it feels better to keep my hair out the way. I've given my floors a good mop today, I can't wait until we get new tiles in the bathroom and kitchen though as the old ones never really look properly clean, I want shiny ones!!! I've also been to the dump with some rubbish from the garden and a few broken things, so I feel happy that I can scrap tonight.

I have so many lines on my face that I can see in photos but not when I look in the mirror. I don't ever wear any make up so I guess I'm just going to look older and older. I suppose I'll get used to the older me, in my head I still look young!!!

Frost & Cooking

So winter is really set in here as the frost didn't leave the trees and bushes all day today, it was

really pretty. At least the fog lifted so we could appreciate the prettiness, when George and I walked the dog we had frost on the ends of our hair and the dog had frosty whiskers!!! I also took pictures of the spider webs today.


As it was too cold to go out far I did some cooking, I'm not a cook, I can't bear to cook in fact. Normally I find it tedious get bored half way through, do something else while I'm waiting and then it burns!!! I had an urge today to make soup, strange as that may seem, it must be the cold weather. So I made vegetable soup and it was delicious, even the kids thought so. I used a recipe from the Sainsburys site but had bought the ingredients from Tesco as Gary works there. Then as if that culinary masterpiece wasn't enough I also made Sausages and Roasted Vegetables for tea, which the kids weren't so keen on but I guess you can't win everytime!! No photos of the cooking I was too excited that it looked edible and wasn't burnt, I'm going to make some more soup tomorrow to freeze for the week!!! This soesn't sound like me at all.

I've decided to take pictures of the kids on a Saturday regularly, obviously on other days as well but at least on a Saturday so that some get taken weekly throughout the year. Today they were on the computer a lot of the day so it seems appropriate that todays photo is this one. They were playing Club Penguin and doing some missions, they managed well together most of the time with only the odd fight!!!

Chilly Friday

We have been chilly today, but we also managed to appreciate some things about the cold weather on our way to school this morning. The frost had made the spider webs look so pretty but must have made the spiders have very chilly feet!!! Did I have my camera to take a pic, no but I will bear it in mind tomorrow and try and get some snaps if we have frost which it looks as if we will because tonight it is very cold and foggy.

Fried Eggs

These are one of my fav foods, Gary even said I make them better than him today, which has to be a first as I'm a rubbish cook and he likes to cook and rustles up some delicious dinners. I've decided to take photos of the kids on the weekends as it's a bit pressured on weekdays with everyone here and them being at school all day.

Cookies & College

The Childminding babies and I have been making cookies today, everyone thought they were yummy and the big ones were very excited by fresh cookies when they came in from school. Heart, Stars, Circles and some very odd shapes!! I also started back at College after the Christmas break. I'm doing a Diploma in Homebased Childcare, I'm just more than half way and will be finished by the summer.

It doesn't want to upload my photos today I'll try again tomorrow.

All wrapped up

I was all wrapped up ready to go to do the school run when I suddenly decided to get Charlotte to take my phot, so after rushing about finding the camera I was boiling hot!!! Must do that every morning before I go outside!!

This is a LO I did for scrap like you mean it, which is a challenge Shimelle is running on UKS. I'm the one on the left as you look at it!!! Such a cute haircut!!
